Welcome to Financial Calculator ("the App"), developed and operated by Finance Chemistry ("we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights regarding your data when you use our Android application available on Google Play Store (Package: com.calculator.financechemistry).

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Name: When you create an account or sign in with Google, we collect your display name.
• Email Address: Collected during account registration (email/password) or Google Sign-In for authentication purposes.
• Account Credentials: If you register with email and password, your password is securely managed by Firebase Authentication and is never stored or accessible by us in plain text.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device or Other IDs: We collect device identifiers such as Advertising ID, Firebase App Instance ID, and Android ID. These are used for analytics, advertising, and app functionality.
• App Interactions: We collect data about how you interact with the App, including screens viewed, features used, buttons tapped, and session duration via Firebase Analytics.
• Crash Logs & Diagnostics: We automatically collect crash reports, performance data, and diagnostic information to identify and fix bugs and improve App stability.
• Purchase History: If you make in-app purchases (e.g., premium subscription), transaction records are collected via Google Play Billing.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Precise or approximate location
• Contacts, calendar, or phone data
• Photos, videos, or audio files
• Messages or files stored on your device
• Health, fitness, or biometric data
• Financial account numbers, credit/debit card information, or bank details
• Web browsing history

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication, which uses industry-standard security practices.
• Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed and managed entirely by Firebase.
• We do not store sensitive financial data (bank accounts, card numbers) on our servers.

6. Data Retention

• Account Data (Name, Email): Retained as long as your account exists. Deleted immediately upon account deletion.
• Analytics Data: Retained by Firebase Analytics for up to 14 months, then automatically purged. Aggregated/anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.
• Crash Logs: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes.
• Advertising IDs: Processed in real-time for ad serving; not stored on our servers.
• Purchase Records: Managed by Google Play; retained per Google's policies.

7. Your Rights & Choices

7.1 Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

• In-App: Go to Profile → scroll down → tap "Delete Account" → confirm
• Via Web: Visit our Account Deletion Page
• Via Email: Contact support@financechemistry.com

Upon deletion, all your personal data (name, email, preferences, authentication credentials) is permanently removed. This action is irreversible.

7.2 Opt Out of Personalized Ads

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings:

• Go to Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID on your Android device.

7.3 Disable Analytics

Firebase Analytics data collection is enabled by default. You can limit data collection by restricting app permissions through your device settings.

7.4 Access & Portability

To request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, contact us at support@financechemistry.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us at support@financechemistry.com.

9. International Users

Our App is available worldwide. If you access it from outside India, please be aware that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries where our service providers operate (including the United States). By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data based on:

• Consent — for personalized advertising
• Legitimate Interest — for analytics and app improvement
• Contract Performance — for account management and in-app purchases

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
